Your Parent Won't Type.
Won't Record Themselves.
Won't "Do Their Homework."

Good.

We just call them and have a conversation. They talk, we make the book. Their words. Their voice. Their stories.

You've tried. It didn't work.

StoryWorth sat unanswered for a year.

You paid $99. They answered two questions. Now it's another thing you feel guilty about.

"I'll record them next time I visit."

You've said this for three years. The visit happens, the recording doesn't.

They won't use the app.

Remento, voice memos, video calls — your parent doesn't want to talk to a screen.

Meanwhile, every week that passes is another story you might never hear.

The Simple Solution

We call your parent, have real conversations about their life, and turn those calls into a book that sounds exactly like them.

Three steps. They just talk.

We call your parent

A real person (not AI, not prompts) calls your parent and has a conversation. Like catching up with an old friend.

We capture their actual voice

We record the call, then edit for clarity — never for style. Their phrasing stays. Their tangents stay.

You get a book forever

When your grandchildren read it in 30 years, they'll hear how grandma actually talked.

No typing No apps No homework

The math nobody talks about.

80%

of family stories lost within 3 generations

47%

regret not recording their loved one's voice

0

stories you can capture after they're gone

Your parent has 70, 80, 90 years of stories in their head right now.
The only question is whether anyone writes them down.

Same words. Same voice. Just readable.

We preserve how they actually talk — not how a writer thinks they should sound.

What they said

"Oh, the war? Well, I was just a kid, you know. But I remember — this is funny — I remember my mother hiding the silver in the backyard. In a coffee can! Can you imagine? She was convinced the Germans were coming to Iowa. [laughs] They weren't coming to Iowa."

What you'll read

I was just a kid when the war started, but I remember my mother hiding the silver in the backyard — in a coffee can. She was convinced the Germans were coming to Iowa. They weren't coming to Iowa.

"I would give anything, anything, to hear him tell one more story in his own voice. I took for granted that I'd always be able to call him and hear him say 'Hey, kiddo.' Now there's just silence."

Don't wait until you're saying this.

"How do I know it'll actually sound like them?"

Fair question. The internet is full of AI-polished slop and ghostwriters who make everyone sound the same.

Here's how we're different: You see a sample chapter before you pay for the full book.

We do one interview. Edit one chapter. Send it to you. If you read it and think "that's not how my mom talks" — you're out nothing but the deposit, and we part friends.

But here's what actually happens: you read it and hear her voice in your head. The way she interrupts herself. The phrases she always uses. The story she's told a hundred times but never quite this way.

That's when you know it worked.

Start with one conversation.

Questions & Answers

How do I know it'll actually sound like them?

You see a sample chapter before you pay for the full book. We do one interview, edit one chapter, and send it to you. If it doesn't sound like your parent, you're out nothing but the deposit.

What if my parent has trouble hearing or speaking?

Our interviewers are patient and experienced. We can work at whatever pace is comfortable, take breaks, and schedule multiple shorter calls if needed.

How long does the process take?

A sample chapter is delivered within 7 days of the first call. A complete book typically takes 6-8 weeks depending on the scope.

What happens to the recordings?

You own everything. We'll send you the audio files along with the transcripts. Nothing is held hostage.

Your parent won't do their homework.

That's fine. They just have to answer the phone.
